Destinée Stone is a highly enthusiastic art educator with a passion for everything in the realm of art. A native of Texas, Destinée, attained her Bachelor of Arts in Visual Art from Spelman College in Atlanta Georgia as well as an Art Teaching Certification from Lipscomb University in Nashville Tennessee. Her teaching experience as an art educator in Okinawa Japan sparked her interest in cultural exploration and community enrichment. In her current positions as an art educator and school team leader she strives to- make art exploration more accessible to the community. Art is best when it is shared by all.

2020-2021

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Destinée Stone managed the Virtual Art Education Departments for all five CSISD Middle and Intermediate Schools while overseeing her own classroom remotely. Mrs. Stone managed all lessons, grading, Zoom meetings, art curriculums, parent communications, and material & resource needs for both in-class and virtual learners. Her responsibilities in this role enabled the virtual and in-person education of over 400 students at Oakwood Intermediate School, Pecan Trail Intermediate School, College Station Middle School, Wellborn Middle School, and A&M Consolidated Middle School.
